Sarah serves as the Graduate Assistant of Student Accountability and Conflict Resolution while studying for her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Sarah is a former middle school English teacher and primarily served English language learners. Her professional interests are adolescent mental health and restorative justice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading Education with an Autism Graduate’s Certificate from Appalachian State University, where she also worked as the Graduate Assistant for the Anderson Reading Clinic. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, concerts, indoor cycling, and spending time outdoors with her friends and family (including her rescued dog, Cleo).
