Educational Outcomes
Educational Outcomes
Educational Outcomes or combination of outcomes may be imposed by Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution upon any individual student or student organization found “Responsible” for violations of the Code of Student Responsibility. Educational Outcomes are implemented to educate and inform students on the behavior that led to the violation. It is the intent of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution to educate students on their behavior in regards to the Code of Student Responsibility so they are better able to make informed decisions. In light of the facts and circumstances of each case, a Conduct hold may be placed by the Dean of Students Office on registration (if not already in place) upon receiving educational sanctions or failure to comply with the imposed educational outcomes. A student found responsible for a violation of the Code of Student Responsibility shall be subject to educational outcomes commensurate with the offense with consideration given to any aggravating and mitigating circumstances, including but not limited to the student’s disciplinary record.
For a full list of the educational outcomes that can be assigned after a determination of responsibility, please see Chapter 5: Outcomes of the Code of Student Responsibility.
